Local Artist Studio Tour GOST May 2 and 3

If you love art you will love the Gardiner Open Studio Tour May 2 and 3rd. This great local art event happens twice a year on the first weekend in May and then again on Columbus Day weekend in October. Painters, Potters, Sculptors, Photographers and more will be opening their studios to share their work and their process with you.

When the Gardiner Open Studio Tour kicked off their for the first time in the fall of 2013 it gave art lovers a chance to meet a wonderful group of artist whose talent represents the wealth of art we enjoy in the Hudson Valley. So with their 4th tour set for this weekend.Twenty plus artists from around the Gardiner and New Paltz area will open their studio doors from 10a to 5p this Saturday and Sunday. \

Plan your route G.O.S.T. Map so you can see it all. Enjoy talking with the artists, bring your questions and your love for art. It is a great opportunity to make a purchase directly from the artist who created the piece.

As an added feature and to draw attention to the tour The G.O.S.T. artists have also done an art installation throughout Gardiner and New Paltz. If you have been in Ulster County you may have noticed "Painted Doors" along the roads in New Paltz and Gardiner. These doors help mark the art trail for the tour and offer a preview for some of the artist's work.
