Mohonk Preserve Offering FREE Passes to Ulster County Residents
Free passes will only be available for a limited time! Here's what you need to do to get yours.
One of the Hudson Valley's best places to enjoy a day in nature is now offering all residents in Ulster County the opportunity to enjoy everything they have to offer for FREE for a limited time.
Visit Mohonk Preserve for FREE
For the 14th year in a row, the Mohonk Preserve is inviting all of its Ulster County neighbors to visit the Preserve for free! The Healthy Ulster Pass Program is back this year and is a great way for Ulster County residents to get a FREE one-month pass to visit the Preserve. The free passes are being made possible through generous support from the Ulster Savings Charitable Foundation and are giving folks in Ulster County the chance to enjoy a FREE month of everything offered at the Preserve (below).
How to Get FREE Mohonk Preserve Passes
If you live in Ulster County and have proof of Ulster County residency (license, bill, proof of address) you are eligible for the free passes this year. Residents will need to pick them up during the Healthy Ulster Pass Program distribution which will take place Friday, April 5 through Sunday, April 7th at the following locations:
Preserve’s Visitor Center on Route 44/55 in Gardiner, New York
The Testimonial Gateway Trailhead on Route 299 in New Paltz, New York
The Spring Farm Trailhead off Mohonk Road in High Falls, New York

Passes will be available at all three locations from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Friday, April 5 to Sunday, April 7. One adult must pick up passes in person each pass will be valid until May 12th. The Preserve is offering a maximum of four passes per household which are available while supplies last. The Preserve has distributed over 54,000 free one-month passes to Ulster County residents during the organization’s annual Healthy Ulster events.
