Hurds also has a great way for you to enjoy the farm and gather your apples. Hurds Family Farms offers golf cart tours for you, your family, and your friends. According to what I saw in a social media post, they have been doing these guided tours of the farm all summer, and they have put together a package for Fall.

The Hudson Valley is known for its apple season. We have farms in Orange, Dutchess, and Ulster Counties that offer apple picking, Fall family fun, and a great day out with friends. Some farms will take you around in a hay wagon, others let you stroll at your leisure, but it looks like Hurds has added a golf cart option.

The Hurds Fall Festival will be kicking off on August 30th, so planning your golf cart tour should start soon. The Golf Cart Adventure, as they call it, requires reservations. You will get the opportunity to tour the 120-acre farm and scenic nature trails.

Hurds offers both public and private Golf Adventures. Both include apple picking, cider, apple cider donuts, and a stop to feed the fish. The public tour can accommodate 5 families at a time. For pricing and to make reservations, go to hurdsfamilyfarm.com.
