Lately there have been a bunch of headline grabbing ways that people are using to shine the light on there cause.

You have players in the NFL kneeing during the National Anthem, which I still get beyond angry about, there are protest going on all across the Untied States and it looks like a Hudson Valley town has unintentionally joined in on the mayhem.

The Village of Greenwood Lake in Orange County is causing a little bit of a stir after, with the support of the Village Town Board, Mayor Jesse Dwyer ordered the painting of a blue stripe down Waterstone Road which runs past the towns first responders buildings.

According to a Facebook post Mayor Dwyer said that "I want to show not only our Police Department, but also our Fire Department and Ambulance Corp. that ALL LIVES MATTER. This is not political. This is a show of support to a group of individuals who are being targeted across our country and being discriminated against because of their occupation. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated in the Village of Greenwood Lake. It's time we all come together and make America stronger, not more divided."

The blue line was made possible by donations and should be out on the road for at least the next few years.

Here is the Facebook post....

As you can see by some of the comments on the post, some people are pretty angry about the blue stripe and some are in support of it.

Would you be OK with your town doing something like this? Let us know in the comment section below.
