Hudson Valley Based TV Show Debuts

The show is called "Eyewitness" and it uses Dutchess County as the back drop.

Eyewitness is a murder thriller TV series that is based in the Village of Tivoli, which is located in the northern part of Dutchess County.

The series is what they call an anthology series in which the season tells the story of a crime and its effects on those who witnessed it, according to the New York Times.

The show is a 10 episode murder drama that stars, James Paxton and Tyler Young, who in the show witness a triple homicide while secretly meeting in a cabin and to make things even more complicated in the drama, Julianne Nicholson who plays the mother of one of the boys, is also the town's sheriff.

Eyewitness made its debut Sunday on the USA Network and will run for 9 more weeks. The show airs Sundays at 10 p.m. with reruns set to air through out the week, according to IMDB.
