Holiday Gala at the Vanderbilt Mansion

The holidays are here, and this Friday night you have a chance to see just how fancy and elegant this time of year can be. The Roosevelt-Vanderbilt Historical Association will be hosting their 4th Holiday Gala: Dancing on the Hudson, Friday evening, Dec.6 from 6PM - 9PM at the Vanderbilt Mansion Historic Site on Rte. 9 in Hyde Park.

The theme this year is Dancing on the Hudson. Guests will be treated to elegant holiday hors d’oeuvres, wine, holiday decorations, and for the first time in event history, dancing with live music by Club Swing, so bring your dancing shoes. This year's Gala will be twice the size of previous years. There will be multiple photo opportunities throughout the mansion, especially in front of the elaborate Entrance Hall trees. Proceeds from this fundraising event support the National Parks located in Hyde Park, New York.

Each ticket holder will receive a commemorative bottle of wine with the Vanderbilt Mansion on the label. Formal attire encouraged. This event is for 21 years and older. For more information and to get tickets, visit the event facebook page.
