Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County has set out to build strength, stability, self-reliance, and shelter for the community. They do it with help from the community in the form of donations and volunteerism.

This year they are setting out on a journey that will lead Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County to one of its largest building endeavors. In September, the construction begins on a project in the Town of Northeast, New York. You can be part of the excitement and volunteer today.

The Town of Northeast project will not be the only way you can get involved in Habitat Dutchess this Fall. In October, they are holding their Hearts & Hammers dinner at The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls in Beacon.

Hearts & Hammers will be an exciting evening that will benefit the many projects Habitat Dutchess has set out to complete. It is also a retirement celebration for Habitat Dutchess CEO Maureen Lashlee.

“Eat, Drink & Be Giving” is the night's theme along with its original Construction Couture dress code - a mix of business attire and construction gear. Feel free to be creative. Make a plan to be part of this glorious evening.
