Buddha Dog Rescue & Recovery Successfully Traps Lost Great Dane
According to a post that Buddha Dog shared last night on Facebook they have been able to successfully wrangle Great Dane with one of the humane feeding traps which they are know for when attempting to bring in a lost dog. The video below shows that process but obviously this doesn't happen overnight.
Initially hesitant, he eventually found the courage to enter the enclosure with the help of conditioning and a tasty bone. Once he was comfortably going in and out, I made the two-hour trip back to New Paltz early this morning to set up for capture. The howling winds and blustery snow squalls kept him on edge, but this afternoon he finally emerged from the woods and made his way into the enclosure, securing his safety as the door closed behind him.
