Gender Reveal or Not?

Every Wednesday on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show we grab an email that we got from a fellow Wolf listener who is looking for some advice. Sometimes the issue is a serious one, other times it can be lighthearted.

This week it's kinda somewhere in between. Lauren and I had a quick conversation on Facebook the other day and she is looking for some advice. She is 6 months pregnant. She hasn't found out her baby's sex yet. She wants a healthy baby, boy or girl, doesn't matter, just healthy. Her husband really wants a boy. Lauren's worried that if they find out the sex he may be disappointed.

A friend told her not to do it. This friend did the big gender reveal and her husband was so bummed that he kind of checked out for the last few months of the pregnancy. He even seemed distant when their daughter was born.

So, should Lauren even do the Gender Reveal? Or should she save the surprise for when the baby's born?
