Favorite Christmas Movies

The holiday season has begun and if you like movies this is a great time of the year.

I think one of my favorite parts of this time of year is when my kids get excited to watch Christmas movies. Is there a must watch holiday or Christmas movie that you and the family have to watch every year?

As a kid the one movie that stands out for me is, Emmet Otter's Jug band Christmas. If you have never seen it, you have to try it out this year.

One movie that I think is going to be on a lot of lists is the classic from 1983, "A Christmas Story." I always thought that my kids would love it, not so much. Every year I put it on and we all start watching and before I know it everyone is asleep and there I sit like a 12 year old boy wishing I had a Red Ryder BB gun.

The one movie that gets the most requests to watch in my house the last couple of years is Home Alone. My kids absolutely love it. My son Jackson can't get enough of the part of the movie when the burglars are trying to get into Kevin's house and they keep getting hurt in the process. He belly laughs thru all of it.
