You probably don't need me to remind you but if you do, consider this the WARNING! Police across the Hudson Valley have increased patrols all over the place, targeting illegal drivers.

According to the Times Herald Record, Sullivan County Sheriff's Department, and State police cracked down on those who ignore stopped school buses on Thursday. And will continue a week-long drive against speeders and aggressive drivers.

The Sullivan County Sheriff's tells the Times Herald Record, "We've already had three arrests for suspended licences, and we've only been here 20 minutes," this stop was set up on Route 209 near the Wurtsboro Airport.

This is all part of an educational process so that people can be made are aware of problems with their vehicle, such as bald tires, broken lights, or expired inspection stickers.
