It seems to be a common theme this summer across the Hudson Valley.

Another bank robbery took place on Wednesday, this time it happened in Middletown.

According to the Times Herald Record, the M&T Bank located on Dolson Avenue in Middletown was robbed Wednesday afternoon right around 4 p.m.

Police officers from the New York State Police and the Orange County Sheriffs Department have not released a description of the suspect, all they have said is that a male was seen leaving the scene of the attempted robbery and that there was no weapon used and that nobody was hurt.

After the robbery was reported, according to the Record, police could been seen searching a grassy area behind the bank with police K-9's and a low flying police helicopter.

A bank teller who arrived on the scene after the robbery told the Record that she talked with employees who told her they were OK and that a teller had gotten a good look at the suspect.
