It's Another Winter Weather Wednesday

It must be Wednesday because it's going to snow. Is it just me or does it seem like that for the last 6 weeks it has snow on or around Wednesday. So here we go again with a winter weather advisory which has been posted for Wednesday at 3pm and will extend into Thursday. We aren't expected to get a lot of snow as a matter of fact I heard a local weather report refer to it as a nuisance. But nuisance or not plan to have so sort of disruption to your Thursday morning.

The official NOAA forecast for New Paltz is below.

Wednesday

A chance of snow, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 24. Light and variable wind becoming southeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Wednesday Night

Snow, mainly before 3am. Low around 19. Southeast wind around 6 mph becoming northeast after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Thursday

Partly sunny, with a high near 36. North wind 5 to 7 mph.

Thursday Night

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21. Northeast wind 3 to 5 mph.
