An accident on the Taconic is causing a major slowdown this morning.

We've just received reports from correspondents and several morning commuters that there is an accident on Taconic Southbound at exit 41 near Hwy 52.

The Taconic Southbound has been reduced to one lane and has been slowed down to a stop.
