It looks like 56 year old Sting from the professional wrestling company WWE is calling it a career.

After being the face of the WCW for decades and now in the WWE, Stings in ring career is over due to an injury.

According to TMZ Sports, Srting suffered a pretty bad neck injury at the WWE's pay per view event "Night of Champions" back in September. It all happened durning a match with Seth Rollins.

Sting has been diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis which is a condition affecting the nerves that can result in extreme pain and discomfort. It is the same injury that former WWE star Edge had to retire from.

It looks like the public announcement will take place in April at the WWE's Hall of Fame ceremony the night before WrestleMania at Cowboys Stadium in Texas.
