Would You Call the Police?
Time for some neighbor on neighbor drama!
At least once a week on the Wakin' Up with the CJ and Jess Show we do what we can to help out a fellow Wolf listener with an issue they are dealing with. We call it "We Gotcha Wednesday" and every Wednesday we dim down the lights, fire up a candle and grab an email from a fellow Wolf listener that's looking for some advice.
This week our email comes from a Hudson Valley neighbor who is having some issues with their neighbors during this whole quarantine thing. She wrote us,
"Guys PLEASE HELP ME!! My neighbors have thrown coronavirus parties the last two weekends and the parties are really getting under my skin. Last weekend they had like 15 or so people in their backyard drinking and making all kinds of noise. I don't normally mond a party but with stay-at-home order still ongoing this is getting crazy. My husband says it's none of our business and we shouldn't call the police or say anything. I disagree and think I should call the police because I feel like it's unsafe. He says we wouldn't want it done to us so we shouldn't do it to them. Should I snitch or not?"
It's crazy how the world has changed but I do think that she has a valid reason to be upset about this. I think if I was in this situation I would try to talk to my neighbors before I involved the police. Maybe try to call them and talk it out first, right?
Wanna help out a fellow Wolf listener? You guys give great advice each and every week, so how would you handle something like this? Call or text us through the Wolf app.
