Every Monday on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show we wheel in the "Wheel o Towns" and give it a spin to celebrate one lucky town each week on the Wolf. Here's how it works, our wheel has twenty spots on it, with each spot having one great town from the Hudson Valley on it, every Monday at 6:45 a.m. we ask one lucky person to call in and pick a town they think it's gonna land on. If they get it right we hook them up with a gift card.

With Red Hook being our hometown of the day, we want to get to know Red Hook a little bit better, so we asked everyone, if we go to Red Hook what's something we need to do, or try out? Jill from Hyde park texted us that, "When in Red Hook you have to try the ice cream at Holy Cow and checkout Hudson Valley Vintage."

Holy Cow got a lot of love today, Renee called us and said if we try Holy Cow, we have to try the brownie sundae, she said its the best thing she's ever eaten...LOL! Chris called to let us know that one of our favorite local politicians lives in Red Hook, Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro calls Red Hook home. Tiffani texted us that we need to try out the Flat Iron. She also told us that when it comes to sports, the Red Hook Raiders big rival is Saugerties.

Some other places to try out in Red Hook according to some comments on our Facebook page include, Village Pizza, Annabelle's Bake Shop, Salvatore's Pizza and Golden Wok Chinese.
