I'm currently coming off of a jellybean induced sugar rush (thanks a lot Easter Bunny!) so forgive me.  I had the chance to check out a really cozy coffee shop in Beacon this weekend and thought I'd share my experience.

Bank Square Coffeehouse (correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it used to be The Muddy Cup) is located right on the corner of Main Street in Beacon. It's a great location and easy to find. Parking is excellent as there is a parking lot right behind the building and spots along the street. I didn't know what to expect upon arriving, but was glad to find that it wasn't overly hipster, come on...Beacon is the Brooklyn of the Hudson Valley.

I'm not a huge coffee drinker, so I was glad to see that they had several tea options (caffeinated and non-caffeinated). I went with the Orange-Cranberry, delish. If you're not in the mood for a hot drink they have several frozen drink options, like frappuccino. And if you're not looking for a caffein fix, they have a couple of beers on tap.

Bank Square has a great vibe, there were a few guitarist there- really setting the coffee house mood. There is also an outdoor seating area, equip with a fire pit, making it a great spot for a low key spring evening.
