Wedding Cancellations
Have you or someone you know had to cancel or reschedule their wedding because of the coronavirus?
COVID-19 has turned almost every single industry upside down, schools, restaurants, automotive, retail all feeling the affects of being closed down due to the virus. The one industry that has also experienced devastating affects is the wedding industry.
If you don't know, I've had a part in the wedding industry for 25 years or so providing DJ and entertainment services for a ton of Hudson Valley couples. I have to say that it has been such a pleasure working with so many different couples on their special day which is why I feel awful for any couples in the Valley that are having a hard time adjusting their plans if they had their wedding planned for April or May of this year.
Most of the weddings I had booked have successfully moved their special day to later this year. I have had a few clients that have moved their wedding to this time next year because for one reason or another the month was super important to them.
If you or you know a couple that was planning to get married in April or May, what did they do? Cancel, reschedule or did they do something else? We are looking for any suggestions so we can possibly help out any couples that are struggling right now. Call or text us through the Wolf app.
