Wallkill Valley Land Trust Holds Benefit Sunday at Coppersea Distillery
The Wallkill Valley Land Trust is holding a fundraiser this Sunday at the Coppersea Distillery at 239 Springtown Road in New Paltz. Bike Bourbon and Brunch will be held Sunday October 6th from 11 AM to 2 PM and looks to be a fun way to help the WVLT. By coming out and being a part of the fun on Sunday you will be helping support conservation in the Hudson Valley. The Wallkill Valley Land Trust's mission is to enhance the quality of life in Ulster County by conserving lands of scenic, agricultural, ecological, recreational and cultural significance.
The annual event will have brunch from Harvest Real Food Catering. There will be a tour of the Coppersea distillery. They have planned bourbon and whiskey tastings. You can enjoy live music with Payne's Grey Sky plus bicycles, raffles, face painting and more. No worries if you aren't a bourbon fan lots of other drinks will be available.
To get to the event at Coppersea you can hike in on your bike from the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail or if you are coming by car they are right on Springtown Road. There will be on-site parking for cars and bikes. For information you can contact Coppersea at 845-444-1044. Coppersea and the Wallkill Valley Land Trust encourage all attendees to drink, drive, bike, and hike responsibly.
