This Popular New Paltz Business Getting Set to Re-Open

Down one of the small side streets in New Paltz, about a block from Main Street, is a place so many people, local and visitors alike, call their bakery. The Bakery in New Paltz has been the place for so many people to grab a bite, see some art, and gather for decades.

Broken Pipe Shuts Down Popular New Paltz Business for Months

Sadly, this past winter disaster struck in the form of a frozen pipe, which ended up causing so much damage that the Bakery was forced to close. When it first happened, it seemed like The Bakery would be open in no time. But renovations have taken longer than most thought they would, but the good news they are almost done.

Back at the end of May, The Bakery announced that they would be opening soon. They said repairs were going well, and they asked what people were looking forward to having once The Bakery reopened. They got many responses to this question when they asked it on Facebook.

They have not shared the exact date the doors will re-open to the renovated and repaired Bakery, but we are all hoping it is very soon.
