It should not be a surprise to anyone that I am a fan of the show Midnight Texas. It feels like the only TV show I blog about besides maybe The Voice. We all have our TV habits and let's face it to add a show to your watch list it usually means your dropping one, but in the age of the DVR that just isn't necessary.

So last year when I was watching The Voice and saw the promo for Midnight Texas I knew I would be adding a show to the taping list. Not being quite sure it was a keeper I choose not to record the series just the first show. Then a few nights later I went back and watched the first episode and have been hooked ever since. The show definitely could have ended last year with the way the first season's final episode played out,but it would have left all us "Midnighters " wanting more.

This supernatural drama on NBC was slow to start back up this season so the rumors flew that it may not return. Fortunately a trip to Comic Con by the cast quieted those rumors and as you can see from the promo below it is back and this season looks awesome.

The show is based on a series of books written by #1 New York Times best selling author Charlaine Harris. I have not read the books yet, but I am thinking it will great reading this winter. So set the DVR for Friday October 26th at 9pm. Or like me pop the popcorn pour a beverage and sit back for Texas fun with a supernatural twist.
