Poughkeepsie, NY Man Goes Missing in 2001
On January 24th, 2001, Anthony Urciuoli of Poughkeepsie, New York told his parents he was going to play pool and was never seen or heard from again.
After a shift at his job as a waiter at the Dutchess Diner, Anthony Urciuoli arrived home at his parent's house near the Poughkeepsie Galleria around 9 pm.
According to The Charlie Project, Urciuoli received a page on his beeper from an unknown source around 11:30 pm. The 31-year-old, who was living with his parents at the time, left their home stating he would be back in a few hours.

Anthony Urciuoli would never be seen again.
The website goes on to explain:
Authorities were unable to trace the page Urciuoli received the night he vanished. He occasionally played pool at Shark's in Fishkill, New York, but no one recalled seeing him at the establishment that night.
Anthony Urciuoli's Car Found at Spratt Park
2 days after Urciuoli left his parent's house his car was found in a parking lot of a popular Poughkeepsie, NY park. Urciuoli drove a gray 2000 Nissan Maxima. The Charlier Project states that Urciuoli's Uncle came across the vehicle at the Spratt Park parking lot on January 26th, 2001.
In the car, which was locked, authorities found Urciuoli's wallet inside the vehicle. With that being said, investigators added that there was "no sign of struggle" at the scene and they believe he parked his car and went into another vehicle with someone else.
Loved Ones Believe Foul Play is Involved in Anthony Urciuoli's Case
Medium.com revisited the Urciuoli case in April of 2023 and shared additional information. Anthony's parents Anthony Sr. and Sandra strongly believe foul play was involved.
Anthony and Sandra said that they had planned a trip with Anthony Jr. to Las Vegas to celebrate their birthdays and that their son was looking forward to the trip.
Sandra is on record as saying in an interview "“I just feel in my heart it was violence…he would have called.”
