New York State Police are looking for a man wanted for burglary, gang assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.

The New York State Police (NYSP) is seeking to locate a 24-year-old upstate New York man who is wanted on numerous felony charges in Whitehall, New York.

Dangerous Upstate New York Man Wanted

Dylan Scoville, 24, of Whitehall, NY is wanted by the NYSP on two felony charges including first-degree burglary, first-degree gang assault, and possession of a weapon a misdemeanor. Scoville who has also be know to use the alias Dylan Prosser was allegedly involved in an assault that took place on May 30, 2024, at a home in Whitehall, NY.

According to police, they responded to a report of an assault in progress and upon arrival located a seriously injured victim and determined that Scoville, along with one other person forced entry into the victim's house and violently assaulted them before fleeing the scene.

Dylan Scoville Wanted

Scoville is described as a white male, 5’9″ and 230 pounds with blonde hair and hazel-colored eyes according to WRGB. He is known to frequent the Glens Falls area of upstate New York and is considered dangerous. If someone does see him they should NOT approach him, "If located, please contact State Police immediately." If you or someone you know has any information on his whereabouts NYSP is asking them to contact them immediately at (518) 457-6811.

Scoville was previously arrested by the NYSP back on May 9th, after an alleged incident in February 2024 in which police say he reportedly carried on a sexual relationship with a child under the age of 17 in the Village of Whitehall, New York. He was charged with third-degree rape, a felony.
