S’More Pizza Released at Dutchess County Pizzeria

Since the beginning of New York on Pause, our local restaurants have been getting creative on what they're offering.

We've seen places like Patsy's Roadside Bar offer take home Sangria Kits, Bubbakoo's Burritos in New Windsor started offering take-home taco kits and Pizza Mia began selling a pizza creation that was made with garlic knots and topped with mozzarella sticks that had all of New York talking.

While we're on the topic of pizza, one Hudson Valley pizzeria is bringing a dessert pizza to the table and just in time for summer.

Starting Wednesday, May 20, Ronzoni's in Hyde Park will sell a S'more pizza. Pizza maker Rebekah Brown broke it down for us and told us it's made with pizza dough then layered with  "a chocolate base, then marshmallow, crushed graham crackers and a Hershey bar." Plus if you want to add some color there's an option of adding strawberries.

Nothing says summertime like a s'more and nothing says New York still on Pause like pizza. It's the best of both worlds.

The S'More Pizza is 14inches of deliciousness and will run you $12.99+tax.

Ronzoni's is located at 960 Violet Ave in Hyde Park and is open for delivery or curbside pickup.

Have you ever had a dessert pizza before? I think I'd be okay with this becoming a normal occurrence. I've seen Nutella pizza's before, but what about chocolate and peanut butter pizza, like a peanut butter cup?
