Skunks Gone Wild
Have you ever had a run in with a skunk?
It looks a town in Illinois has become so overrun with skunks that they are offering cold hard cash to people that can trap and remove the smelly animals.
According to WGN, the village of Vernon Hills has so many skunks that in an effort to get rid of them they are now offering to pay $75 to people who can trap and remove them from the town.
I guess skunks have been an ongoing problem in the town and the skunk population has gotten really bad this year because of the mild, wet spring.
Wildlife experts told WGN that the reason that people are seeing more skunks now is because the skunks are most active now because they're trying to store up fat for the winter.
