Health officials warn the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, a Hudson Valley Target, a supermarket and other popular local businesses were recently exposed to measles.
On Wednesday, the Orange County Department of Health reported a New York City resident with confirmed measles visited the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets on Sunday, March 31.
Potential exposure may have happened to people who visited the Nike Factory store or Sayki Men’s Fashion store on March 31 between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m., officials say.
Anyone who visited those stores should monitor for signs and symptoms of measles through April 21, the Orange County Health Department recommends. If you do become ill, you should seek appropriate medical care immediately.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, health officials in Rockland County confirmed there are now 180 reported cases of the illness in the area. An increase of eight since the county's last report just one day prior.
