Do you remember yours from way back when?

As we inch closer to the official end of the 2020 school from home year, i'm not sure what else to call it...LOL! Anyway as the school year winds down and we start to congratulate all of the seniors of the class of 2020 and one of the things kids this year are going to miss out on is the whole yearbook thing.

I'm not sure if getting your yearbook signed from your fellow classmates is still a thing for kids, but when I was in school getting your yearbook signed was almost as important to most of us as getting a diploma.

When the yearbook committee handed out yearbooks to us it was a little like Christmas morning for all of us and if I remember correctly when someone asked me to sign theirs it made me feel like the coolest kid in the world..LOL! I Couldn't wait to do it, and I always loved reading what my friends would write in mine. Almost all of the messages had something to do with me being a complete class moron or had something to do with a party or drinking.

Our school also asked seniors every year to give a senior quote for the yearbook, it was the quote that would be right under your senior picture and most times kids would say something through song lyrics. And that is exactly what this guy did....I took the lyrics from one of my favorite songs, Ramble On form the best rock band of all time, Led Zeppelin. Here's the quote...

"And now's the time, the time is now
To sing my song
I'm goin' 'round the world, I got to find my girl
On my way
I've been this way ten years to the day
Ramble on
Gotta find the queen of all my dreams"

Jess said that her school outlawed the whole quote thing the year before her senior year because the kids where putting messages that was being interpreted as a form of bullying or something, but she did tell us that if she could've left one it would have been something from Kelly Clarkson.
