We're no experts, although we would like to be, but we happen to think New York is a hot spot for Bigfoot activity. Particularly in the Hudson Valley and Upstate, New York.

For years we've heard stories of Bigfoot sightings like the time in Hyde Park a woman claims to have seen Bigfoot in the wooded area of her backyard while she was gardening during the day.

Or the time an Orange County resident claimed Bigfoot broke into their barn and braided the hair on their horses and moved hay bales.

There have been a ton of sightings throughout the years, and this isn't something new. Bigfoot sightings have been reported since the 60s.

All Aboard The Sasquatch Express in Upstate, New York!

We can't believe it took this long, but New Yorkers are finally getting the opportunity to explore the lore of Sasquatch and Bigfoot... sort of.

The Saratoga Corinth & Hudson Railway has announced The Sasquatch Express. On Facebook they explain the Sasquatch Express will be a 90-minute family friendly "adventure like no other!"

The train will depart for King's Station and take guests on a whimsical train journey that "blends folklore, fun and fireside fun." While aboard guest will enjoy comfort fare like baked beans and franks and mac and cheese served in a old-fashioned tin cup.

Kids will get an Adventure Guide that they can complete during the ride with clues and Bigfoot facts.

Guest will also call out for Sasquatch in the woods along the rails and hopefully get a response back. The trip will end with a bonfire where guests will learn all about Bigfoot and his local history in New York State and they'll hear Bigfoot stories from the North Country.

Where is the best place to have a Bigfoot experience in New York? Some say Bigfoot has taken up residence in Beacon New York.

The Dutchess County town was home to a Bigfoot museum of sorts for a while back in 2023 and apparently there has been video of the creature captured near Mount Beacon.
