Let's recognize the heroes of yesterday's unfortunate events.

Videos are now emerging from yesterdays shooting in San Bernadino California. Some of them are terrifying to watch as cops, strapped with heavy ammunition, storm a Social Services Center to stop two active shooters. Unfortunately, events like this are becoming part of our daily lives and it's scary and sad and hard to process.

I try not to watch the videos posted on Facebook, but late last night one of my favorite sites, PostSecret, posted this video and I couldn't let it go un-shared. The video takes place while police started evacuating survivors.

Pay attention to what the police officer says , around the :29 second mark, as the scared crowd starts shuffling down the hallway. ( Please be aware that the language towards the end of the clip is not suitable for work or young children)

"I'll take a bullet before you do, that's for damn sure." I don't think much else needs to be said. But I'll say it again, lets recognize the brave men and women who headed into the line of fire to assist the civilians inside.
