I guess it was to good to be true.

Remember back in December, we talked about that new company that announced that they would give you a loan for your wedding and you don’t have to pay it back unless you get divorced. If you do get divorced you have to pay back the loan plus interest.

Well like my grandma used to say, when something sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

According to the Consumrist, the company Swan Luv is no more.

I guess more than 200,000 couples requested loans, and the company didn't have the $2 billion ($10,000 each) to give out to couples.

So a few days ago, the company decided to scrap the loan idea, and switch to a crowdfunding site. The sites that allow you to ask from money from friends and family.

If you read the comments section, you can see that people are not happy with the new idea.

SwanLuv blamed the change on, "overwhelming demand and unanticipated legal regulations and restrictions in the lending space."

As of today, SwanLuv.com is down which I think means that they are done.
