Play Golf and Help the Saugerties Boys & Girls Club

Here's how to get out of your weekend chores and to-do list on Saturday, August 1st. Get your family and friends together and form a team to play in the Annual Saugerties Boys & Girls Club Golf Tournament at Rip Van Winkle Country Club. If your friends and family don't know a good time when they see it, you can also golf on your own and still have fun.

Registration starts at 8 am with a shot-gun start at 9. Enjoy lunch at the turn followed by hors d'oeuvres and awards around 3. There will be raffles and prizes, a beverage cart throughout the day, and awards for closest to pin, longest drive, as well as straightest drive.

This tournament will help fund the Saugerties Boys & Girls Club which provides opportunities for the youth of Saugerties and the surrounding areas. They help them develop the skills they need to succeed in today’s world with programs that include education, health and life skills, the arts, recreation, and  character and leadership. The Club has year round services for over 500 members at three locations.
