If you are or have a teenager in the house, this is big news!

Think back to the year 2000. Remember the whole Y2K stuff? This is not about any of that, LOL, but if you have kids that enjoyed TV back then, sound the alarms, Clifford the Big Red Dog is back!

The PBS Kids TV series Clifford the Big Red Dog, which premiered back in 2000 is set for a reboot according to People and Clifford will be bringing all his friends along for the ride including his best buddy Emily Elizabeth.

For all of our historians, Yes Clifford has been around for way longer than the year 2000, as many Clifford books have been out since as far back as 1963 when Scholastic published their first “Clifford the Big Red Dog” book. Today, there are over 133 million Clifford books in print according to People.

As far as the reboot goes, they say we can expect expect episodes featuring Clifford and friends taking on fun adventures around Birdwell Island that will help boost early literacy skills and encourage imaginative play.

The reboot will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on Friday December 6th and then the next day December 7th on PBS KIDS.
