The incident took place on Saturday in Victor New York.

According to the Daily Freeman, a couple from Rochester brought their kids to the Eastview Mall in Victor on Saturday and left them so they could go to work.

Police told the freeman that the parents left the children unsupervised on a bench in the mall for more than six hours while they went to their maintenance jobs.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said that a 39 year old man and a 36 year old woman, both from Rochester, have been charged with endangering the welfare of a child after they left the kids ages 8, 6, and 1 month old unsupervised at the mall.

Mall security was notified by customers that the kids were left alone and they called the sheriff’s office.

Once deputies arrived they told the Freeman that they found the children alone in an employees access hallway at the mall.

The parents were arrested and issued appearance tickets for a later date and Child Protective Services were also notified.
