Is a New Wing Restaurant Coming to Poughkeepsie?

Could one of the biggest names in "wings" be ready to open two new chicken wing restaurants in Poughkeepsie, New York?

Most of us enjoy a good chicken wing every once and a while, right? If you are like us and LOVE eating wings the odds say you probably have a favorite place to order from anytime you get the craving.

It amazes me how different wings can be from one place to another, some places have bigger wings, others cook them longer, and some serve more flats than drumsticks, it's CRAZY! To take the crazy out of wings, it appears that we might have two new restaurants to get our wing fix satisfied in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Wing Stop has Great Wings

One thing I've learned in the last year is that if you like wings and haven't tried Wing Stop yet you are missing out on some amazing wings! My youngest son turned me on to them a few months ago and after ordering a couple of orders in flavors like lemon peeper, garlic parmesan, and spicy Korean from the Newburgh, New York location I was hooked! They were cooked and flavored perfectly the only negative is there isn't a location closer to my house in Poughkeepsie.

Wing Stop Opening in Poughkeepsie, New York

Over the last three years or so it's been rumored that Wing Stop was going to open a location on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie at the retail center currently home to Smoothie King, Buff City Soap, and Jersey Mike's. We shared information about the new Wing Stop in May 2021 and since then, we haven't really heard much about when they would be opening but what we have heard is that Wing Stop is coming to a different Poughkeepsie location!

Wing Stop Coming to Hudson Heritage

One of the newest shopping plazas on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie is preparing to welcome a new tenant soon! As you can see in the picture above Wing Stop will soon call a section at Hudson Heritage in Poughkeepsie home. The picture, taken last week doesn't provide any other information but does let us know they are coming soon! We have attempted numerous times to contact Wing Stop to see if they could provide an opening date or any other information but have not heard back. When we do we will update this article.
