Popular New Paltz Business Will Finally Reopen This Week

Ever since The Bakery in New Paltz had to shut down this past winter due to a pipe freezing, causing the flooding in the shop, I have been following their progress to reopen.

In March, I told you about them asking for help and understanding from their devoted customers. The shop actually flooded in January. In February, they explained to their customers that it would be a while. to get all the repairs done. They had wanted to be open for Valentine's Day.

Then, in June, there was an encouraging update that The Bakery hoped to open soon. On the social media post where they shared the news, many people left words of encouragement.

When Will The Bakery in New Paltz Reopen

The Bakery is one of the small businesses in New Paltz that is considered a staple. People who spend time in New Paltz are familiar with The Bakery and all it has done for the community over the years. It may be under new management, but they have kept the community spirit alive.

That is why the news that they plan to open on September 1st has been met with much excitement and anticipation.
