National Ice Cream Day at PetSmart Hudson Valley Locations

Lets hope this doesn't turn out like the Build-a-bear thing.

Although hundreds of puppies waiting in line is actually a dream come true for most people.

PetSmart is planning on celebrating National Ice Cream Day, which falls this year on Sunday July 15th. They'll be celebrating all weekend long starting on Saturday July 14th by offering free dog friendly ice cream at all of their locations around the United States, according to Business Wire.

Joanna Zucker, vice president of services at PetSmart tells Business Wire "National Ice Cream Day has been such a big hit with our customers, we decided to make it a weekend-long celebration. It’s a great way to let your pet get in on the holiday fun and beat the heat with an ice cream treat!”

Your pup will be able to enjoy a four ounce ice cream treat during store hours at all PetSmart stores with PetsHotel locations.

There are three PetSmart locations in the Hudson Valley in Poughkeepsie, Kingston and Newburgh.
