More Wet Weather For Tuesday, Leading to A Frozen Thanksgiving
More wet weather instore Tuesday for the Hudson Valley. A low-pressure system south of the region will bring more rain and even some wet snow for the higher elevations. Then a strong cold front move into the Hudson Valley Wednesday, brining in very cold weather going into Thanksgiving.
Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:
Tuesday: A chance of rain, mainly before 10am, then a slight chance of showers after noon. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 43. North wind 5 to 7 mph.
Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. West wind 5 to 7 mph.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, high near 37. A chance of rain or snow showers in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night: A chance of snow showers before 7pm. Low around 15.
Thanksgiving Day: Sunny, with a high near 24.
Thursday Night: Clear, with a low around 9.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 32.
