Luke Bryan Celebrates Labor Day Weekend on Hunting Trip With Family
It's Labor Day weekend 2018, and the ever-hardworking—and hard-playing—Luke Bryan is taking advantage of a couple days off the road to engage in some good ol' fashioned family fun. Fresh off a date playing Wrigley Field in Chicago, Bryan posted a photo to social media showing off what looks to be bonding time with his two young sons and teenage nephew on a hunting trip.
"Dove hunting weekend," Bryan captioned the shot, and everyone's all dressed in camo and hats, so it appears this crew is taking their leisure seriously.
Bryan's wife, Caroline, even got in on the action by wryly commenting to her husband about his fashion choice for the excursion. "Looks like you're wearing jean shorts," she remarked on the photo. (He does appear to be wearing jorts, to which several fans defended as "in"...plus who knew there was a style requirement for dove hunting?)
Despite jokes about his pants, Bryan does take his work-life balance seriously, managing to fit in lots of time with his family which he documents frequently on his social media accounts. This is no small feat, considering he's got a daunting schedule that includes his current tour, plus the recent opening of his new Nashville restaurant and bar, Luke's 32 Bridge Food + Drink. Oh, and with one season of American Idol in the books, he's now already coming up upon his judging commitments for the next season, which will take up even more of his already precious time.
The cheerfully upbeat singer says he manages the juggling act by good communication with his family, as he related in a recent radio interview.
“There are a lot of moving parts. You knock it out of the park some days—and other days, I try to sneak in a hunting trip and I kinda know its not the thing I should have done," he admits, with a laugh.
