Sunshine Returns for the Holiday Weekend Forecast

Better weather for the weekend in the Hudson Valley.  Actually, Saturday is looking better than it did yesterday, with a frontal boundary that has stalled just to south of region.  It will provide more comfortable conditions.

Sunshine returns on Saturday, and temps will rebound a bit.  Then it will become muggy and warmer as we head into Sunday and for the upcoming week.  Sunday, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, but it will be sunny and in the 80’s.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Saturday:  Partly sunny, high near 79.

Saturday night:  A chance of showers overnight, otherwise, mostly cloudy, low around 64.

Sunday:  Partly sunny, high near 82.  A chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Sunday night:  A chance of showers and thunderstorms early.  Mostly cloudy, low 71.

Monday, Labor Day:  Mostly Sunny, high near 89.  A chance of showers and thunderstorms.
