Local Bridge to be Closed for Inspection

Get ready for another closure.

If you travel from Kingston to Port Ewen and use the Wurts Street Bridge get ready for another detour.

According to the Daily Freeman, the Wurts Street Bridge that crosses the Roundout Creek and connects Kingston and Port Ewen will be closed to traffic and pedestrians between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily from Sept. 29 to Oct. 2 for a general inspection.

If it rains during those dates the Department of Transportation have set the rain dates for Oct. 5 to 8.
