Largest Skateboard Contest in The Hudson Valley Going Down This Weekend

I'm not much of a skateboarder, but I played Tony Hawk Pro Skater growing up, so I'm basically a professional.

If you want to catch skateboarders tearing it up and bringing the community together head out to Middletown New York this weekend.

JAFOO Clothing Line Bring Skate Contest to Middletown, New York

Back in 2021, JAFOO was established in the Orange County New York area. The company quickly became a staple in the community as a skateboard and streetwear clothing line.

Later that same year, they made history by organizing its first-ever skateboard contest to celebrate the sport in the city of Middletown, New York.

And just like that, a tradition was born. The JAFOO Skateboard Competition is back for its 3rd year in 2024.

Largest Hudson Valley Skateboard Competition This Weekend

On July 6th, 2024 JAFOO, Middletown Parks and Rec and help from the local police department will once again welcome all skateboarders to 10 Union Street in Middletown.

The Largest Hudson Valley Skateboard Contest will feature events like a jam-style skateboard contest, which will be judged by local professionals. Plus there will be live musical performances, a product toss, and commemorative products available.

A representative for the event tells us that the skate competition is "geared towards the entire community, so everyone is welcome."

While everyone is welcome to attend the contest, if you want to skate you must be registered before the big day.
