Warwick, NY ‘Voice’ Contestant to Perform for Local Fans at The Castle

A local Hudson Valley teen with tremendous talent, is bringing her skills to The Castle Fun Center in Chester.

Julia Roome Advances on NBC's The Voice

If you've been following along, you've probably seen the name Julia Roome pop up on your timeline a time or two. The 13-year-old, Warwick New York native made waves on NBC's The Voice in September when the reality singing competition aired her Blind Audition.

Roome performed the classic "Dream a Little Dream" and had celebrity Coaches Gwen Stefani and Niall Horan immediately turning their chairs.  The coaches were left in awe after finding out Roome is only 13, making her one of the youngest contestants on the show this season.

After the Blind Auditions, Julia moved on to the Battle Rounds where she went head-to-head with fellow teen and "bestie" Olivia Eden. Roome continued to impress the Coaches, so much so that she advanced to the Knockouts.

While we wait for her Knockout Round performance, we can start planning to see her perform live in the Hudson Valley.

Julia tells us she will be hitting the stage at The Castle Fun Center in Chester on Friday, December 8th from 8 pm until 10 pm.
