Fatal Crash Near Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Causes I-84 Delays
New York State Police are trying to determine the crash of a morning crash on I-84 just before the bridge. Another person is in serious condition.
The vehicle ended up flipping over just before the well-traveled bridge.

State Police are investigating a fatal crash on Interstate 84 in the town of Newburgh
New York State Police responded to a fatal crash on Interstate 84 eastbound near exit 39 in the town of Newburgh that occurred on Tuesday, February 20, at about 10:50 a.m.
The unnamed driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
An unnamed passenger was transported to Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in serious condition, according to New York State Police.

Potential Cause Of Fatal Accident On I-84 near the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge in Newburgh, New York
New York State Police states troopers preliminary investigation revealed that a Nissan Rogue struck the guide rail and flipped into the center median.
It's unclear at this time what caused the Nissan Rogue to hit the guide rail on Interstate 84, just before the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge in Newburgh. Police are continuing to investigate.
"This investigation is ongoing," New York State Police stated in a press release.
