Is $450 to Much to Spend on a Kid’s Birthday Party?

Your birthday comes once a year, like you need me to tell you this...anyway, if you have kids you already know that when your putting together a birthday party for your child it can get really expensive, really quick.

If you have had to throw a kid's birthday party before, think about how much money you spent on the festivities.

According to the Daily Mail, parents on average spend $450 on each birthday party for each one of their kids, every single year. And that doesn't include the $250 they spend on presents.

It seems like a lot of money to me but after you add everything up is $450 to much? The most expensive thing is the entertainment for the party, then the food, the decorations, and the party favors.

The big reason for spending all that is to show off. 81% of parents say they want to make sure their kid's party is better than all the other kids' parties.
