Beacon, New York Brewery Gets Ready To Celebrate Grand Opening

A popular Dutchess County brewery is just about ready to open the doors to its new event space and venue in Beacon, New York.

District Social Closes, Makes Room For Brewery Expansion in Beacon, NY

Back in June of this year popular event space District Social, located in Beacon New York, shared that they had some exciting news.

That news, while exciting for some was sad for many too. District Social announced that they were closing their doors and that their neighbor Imperial Arts Brewing Company would be taking over the space.

District Social was known for having a great atmosphere with a live music stage, a fully stocked bar, axe throwing lanes, and an award-winning arcade.

As one door closes, another one opens...

Industrial Arts Brewing Company Celebrates Birthday with Grand Opening

What better way to celebrate a birthday, than with a grand opening? Industrial Arts Brewing Company shared on Facebook that August is their 8th anniversary and they're super excited to share what's been going on with their expansion.

On Facebook, they write "Join us the weekend of the 16th for our anniversary celebration, and the grand opening of our new event space & venue, The Workshop."

While we don't know what aspects of District Social they kept intact (could it be axe throwing or the arcade?!), we're excited to see what they will do with all of that space.

Industrial Arts Brewing Company will be celebrating The Workshop and their birthday on Friday, August 16th, and Saturday, August 17th with live music, raffles, food, and of course drinks.

Did You Know Industrial Arts Brewery Began in Rockland County, NY?

I've drank many Industrial Arts pints at their brewery in Beacon but had no idea they got their start in Rockland County. More specifically, Garnerville, NY.

Back in October 2023, they announced the closure of their Garnerville location and added some details in the comment section explaining to one customer:

We’re letting Garnerville go and a new brewery called Round Table Brewery will be opening in that space!

While adding they were "consolidating in Beacon." And almost a year later, Industrial Arts Brewing Company continues to grow in the Hudson Valley.
