HVFD Happenings: A Bazaar and A Wetdown

June 7th and June 8th (Fri & Sat) - Port Ewen Fire Department & Ladies Auxiliary Annual Bazaar - Location: 161 Broadway in Port Ewen. Time: 6 PM to Midnight both nights. Don't miss the Annual Bazaar with great food and drink. Plus there is fun and games for all ages. This true community event is a an awesome way to spend time with your neighbors and support your local fire department.

July 6th (Saturday) Washingtonville Fire Department - Tanker 577 Wetdown - Are you ready for a Wetdown! July 6th from 1 pm to 5 pm you are invited to join the Washingtonville Fire Department and Monell Engine Company for a Wetdown. Location: 89 East Main Street in Washingtonville. Fog nozzles only. Food Fun and Entertainment for the whole family. Guest parking will be across the street from the fire house.

On going now - Cronomer Valley Fire Department - Invites NFA and Wallkill High School grads to join them this Summer. Get a front row seat at the NYS Basic Exterior Fire Fighter Course. Stop into the fire house at 296 North Plank Road in Newburgh to sign up. Check out the video on their Facebook page and share it with your friends.

Weekly Events

Friday Nights - Kripplebush-Lyonsville Fire Company  the Sub Nite series for 2019 is underway. Time: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Menu: 12 inch Sub Sandwiches you can take home or eat at the Fire Company dining room. Bring your friends and make it a party or an indoor picnic. Ham, turkey, roast beef or a mixed. They will have meatball or chicken parm, veggie, tuna and of course that great Philly cheese steak. Cost:  A donation of $9.00 gets you a drink (can of Pepsi, diet, Sprite, Mt Dew, Orange, Ice Tea or a bottle of water) and a bag of chips. Location: The intersection of UC Route 2 and 519 Pine Bush Rd in the hamlet of Kripplebush. Just one mile north of US 209 between Stone Ridge & Accord. Call in orders at 3:30, 845-687-9801.

Monthly Events

(Monthly Friday Nights) - Pine Plains Hose Company is hosting the first of seven Bingo Nights that run monthly through October. Location: 7 Lakes Road Pine Plains. Doors open at 5 pm and calling starts at 7 pm. There are early bird specials, bonus balls, supplies, Games of chance and refreshments. Monthly dates are June 21st,  July 19th,  August 16th,  September 20th and  October 18th.
