Should we just change the name Hudson Valley to, like, I don't know, Hollywood on the Hudson?

At this point it feels like we should. The Hudson Valley has been a hot spot for celebrities to visit to get away from the hustle and bustle of New York City. They also seem to be fond of opening businesses in our neck of the woods. Paul Rudd, Jeffery Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton are co-owners of Samuel's Sweet Shop in Rhinebeck, while Sunrise Ruffalo, Mark Ruffalo's wife, opened Sunny Pop in Calicoon a few years ago.

The Hudson Valley is also a popular spot for filming. Netflix's new original Maniac and the blockbuster A Quiet Place were both filmed in Dutchess and Ulster counties.

We're not sure why yet, but Hugh Jackman has been spotted here in the Hudson Valley. Alexandra Sassos-Doxey who works at Pete's Famous Diner in Rhinebeck had a run in with The Greatest Showman actor on Monday after he stopped into Pete's Famous for some of their delicious breakfast.

Alexandra shared the photo below with the captions "Had the pleasure of having Wolverine/Greatest Showman Mr. Hugh Jackman today in our restaurant Pete's Famous in Rhinebeck for breakfast what a great guy Thanks for the selfie."

No word yet on why Jackman is in the Hudson Valley, but whatever the reason we're glad he's here and would love a run in with Wolverine himself!
