Summer rolls on, and so do the events that celebrate wine in the Hudson Valley. I have highlighted some great events for you to put on your calendar.

The summer has plenty of tasty wine happenings, but this time I have selected a few from later in 2025 that are worth noting. One is the 24th Annual Food and Wine Festival that will be coming back to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in September.

A Sangria Festival at Benmarl Winery in Marlboro, New York

July 19th & 20th - Benmarl Winery will be holding their Sangria Festival from 11 AM to 8 PM both days. Tickets are $35 per person for those who want to enjoy Sangria. Your ticket includes a souvenir wine glass, six tastings of homemade fresh fruit sangria in a variety of flavors, including peach, tropical, lemonade, strawberry mojito, dragon fruit, and berry.
Non-drinking tickets are available for people 16 years and older for @20 per person. All tickets are non-refundable, and the event is rain or shine. There will be music, and the kitchen will be open with food for purchase. Find out more at benmarl.com

Enjoy Wine and Food Trucks in Millbrook, New York, Every Weekend this Summer

All Summer - Millbrook Winery offers Weekend Food Truck Nights. Grab a bite on Saturday from 12 to 7:30 PM and Sunday from 12 to 6 PM. Enjoy a wine tasting, then have a meal at the food trucks. The schedule includes Valia's Wood Fire, Oyster Party, Oh My Gyro, Cousins Maine Lobster, BBQ Crew, Dave's Global Kitchen, From the Ground Up, and Flavor Bandits. Dance the Night Away At the Nation's Oldest Vineyard in Marlboro, New York

August 8th - It is a 2000s Night at Benmarl Winery in Marlboro, New York. Benmarl is hosting a 2000s night! Everyone is invited to come relive the glory days of the 2000s with song and dance starting at 6:30 PM. Plus, you will love the awe-inspiring view at the NATION'S OLDEST VINEYARD! Once you see the view, taste the food, and sample the wine, you will be back often.

September 6th and 7th  - The 24th Annual Hudson Valley Food and Wine Festival at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds.  It is not at a winery, but it is worth including because so many local wineries participate in this annual event. it has been held for more than 2 decades and offers a chance to spotlight amazing wines and the food that goes with them.

September 20th, 21st, 27th, & 28th - Robibero Winery is holding the Grape Stomping Festival 2025.  It is 11 AM to 5:30 PM all four days. You can come anytime during those hours and enjoy stomping some grapes.  Advanced tickets are $25.00 plus tax and fees. The ticket includes grape stomping, wine tasting, or one glass of wine/sangria. Robibero Winery is located at 714 Albany Post Road, New Paltz.
