Hudson Valley Trunk and Treat Events This Week
The Trick & Trunk events have become a popular way to take your kids out on the candy hunt and show off your decorating skills. They are now considered a great way to celebrate Halloween. The idea varies based on the organizer of the event and their theme but the idea is that everyone gathers in one place with their car trunk decorated and candy for trick or treating. Check out some of the ones we found for you and your little goblins to enjoy.
Wednesday October 25th 6 PM to 8 PM - Trunk or Treat hosted by Kidz Town 1299 Route 9 Wappingers Falls. Everyone is welcome to this fun filled night. If you would like to participate and enter your decorated car please RSVP TO Caitlin or Danielle (845)632-6000. It is not required to enter your car, all are still welcome. If you are entering your car, please bring enough treats for approximately 100 children. Wear your best costume for a special prize
Thursday October 24th 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM - Lakeside Licks Cruisers Truck or Treat Season Finale hosted by Lakeside Licks Thursday Night Car Cruise at Lakeside Licks Ice Cream and Hole in One Donuts Route 299 Highland. The annual Truck or Treat event invites you to bring some candy for the little goblins and celebrate the end of another great season. End of the season prizes to be awarded to our Top 5 cars of the year. Rain date Saturday October 26 from 3 PM - 6 PM.
Saturday October 26th 12 PM to 4 PM - Tricky Trunk at the Modena Firehouse 1953 44/55 Route Modena hosted by the Modena Ladies Auxilary - Come and Decorate your trunk or come trick or treat with your kids Candy, music, activities and refreshments will be available. Saturday October 26th 3 PM to 6 PM - Trunk or Treat hosted by Utterly Delicious 1898 Route 44 in Pleasant Valley. Bring the kids by for a fun and safe evening of games and trick or treating. Please consider setting up a trunk or game, the more hands on deck to more fun all of the children can have. Important information: To have a trunk or table at our trunk or treat we will be asking you to bring 1 or more bags of candy that will be donated to sparrows nest for families battling cancer this Halloween. They will also be accepting cash donations for sparrows nest that will go towards nice hot homemade meals for the families. They also request that you bring individually wrapped nut free candy to supply to the gracious trunk or treaters.
Sunday October 27th 12 PM to 4 PM – the 6th Annual Walker Valley Halloween Parade and Trunk or Treat will be held at the Walker Valley Fire Department Training Center 3679 NY Route 52 Walker Valley. This event has enjoyment for all ages wear a costume give out candy, play games. There will be music craft and food vendors plus pumpkin painting and the Halloween Parade. Pets are invited to dress up and be in the parade this year. Vendors slots are still available for $20 and food vendors are $50 the money is a donation to the firehouse. Set up is 12 noon.
